About
Ryan Renfro
Economics student, collegiate athlete, and aspiring wealth advisor. Renfro Capital is where I do the work in public.

I'm building the toolkit for a career in wealth advisory, and I decided not to wait for a job title to start. Everything on this site is the actual work. Research notes I stand behind, simulated client portfolios I manage against live prices, and software I wrote myself.
Being an athlete shaped how I approach all of it. You review the film, fix the small stuff, and show up again the next day. I treat markets the same way. Write the thesis down, let live prices grade it, and learn from the gap.
If you're a recruiter or an advisor and something here catches your eye, or you spot a mistake in my work, I'd love to talk.
Current Focus
What I'm working on
Economics
Macro, econometrics, and financial theory in the classroom, then applying it to real market questions on this site. The coursework is the base, but the application is where it actually sticks.
Collegiate athletics
Competing at the college level while carrying a full course load. The habits carry over: preparation, honest self-assessment, and showing up every single day.
Building
I build the tools I use, including this site. The portfolio tracker, the research pipeline, the live pricing, all of it. Knowing the plumbing makes me better at the analysis.
